July Fun!

Graham and his cousin, Ellie, have so much fun together. There is 4 months difference in their ages but Graham is so big that they are the same height! Together they discovered pounding on Grandma's door to get the dog's attention, but they got mine instead! They had a blast and i love this picture. My mom will probably just see all the finger-prints on the glass and be embarrassed though! haha J/K

Aunt Pat came out for a visit and the Kids loved seeing her just as much as we all did! She's always a lovable-lap to sit on!

Brennan has fun with Aunt Pat too, its just that Little Einsteins came on right when i took the picture. Brennan even said, "hi Aunt Pat" rather then Hailey's nick-name for her as "everybody"! I loved it when Hailey did that!

Right after Aunt Mary's swim party Brennan showed interest to go Pee-pee in the potty. So we tried and I'm happy to say it really only took 2 days and he got it! So here he is in his big boy Whitey-tightees! Thanks Aunt Mary for the Magic Potty!

My Mother-in-law, Kathy retired from 29 years of teaching and so the girls of the family took her out for a Breakfast retirement/birthday Party! Its a blast to hang out with just the girls, especially since we all know Kathy has put up with only boys for long enough! Kathy I know you'll probably miss teaching, but we are Happy to have more time to play with you!

One morning i got out the Thomas-Tent for the first time in a long time and boy or boy did these two have a ball! They jumped, laughed crawled and cried a lot! So here are a few snaps i got of them in their fun!

This kid will always smile when the camera come out!

Brennan playing peek-a-boo! Look at that cute face!

So my "scary days" are here! Graham discovered the stairs! (dum dum dum! if only i could at this sound effect, you all know what i mean!) He thinks its the coolest, funnest thing in the world and every chance he gets...he's climbing. He's gotten pretty good at climbing, having a role model of his big brother to show him, but sometimes he gets ahead of him self and...there goes my stomach! No big injuries yet but very close to one.
Here's story...One day Brennan got a hold of a granola bar on the counter (for anyone wondering why thats bad, just remember he has a PEANUT ALLERGY) i freaked out, told him to spit it out and made sure he was ok. then i turned to go put the gate back up (since Graham had just woken up from his nap) and there Graham was climbing the stairs and just as i spun around...you guessed it...he began to tumble down the stairs toward our tile! I moved sooo fast that i caught him halfway down. Graham had done only 1 1/2 tumbles, feet completely over his head, i freaked! he was screaming! Brennan was still crying from me panicking about him eating possibly a peanut. All of this happened with in 2, 3 minutes tops! It was a horrible day! i couldn't function after that, so when my mother-in-law called soon after she invited me over. I don't know if she was worried about the kids or me, but it was well needed. I look back to that moment and think to my self....If i didn't react as fast as i did..both of my kids could have been taken from me. It still makes me sick to my stomach. Thank Heavens some one was watching over us!

Stairs are not good. I try to teach them how to get safely up and down as soon as I can. We have the same Thomas tent and my boys still play in it all of the time. It's really one of their favorite possessions!
