So Here We are All Moved in!

Before we moved in we did a little remodeling: we took out the old tile and we painted all the walls. A lot of family and friends helped with painting, cleaning, and babysitting and we are so grateful to you all for all of your hard work and help! So this is a picture of Mark & our good adopted Family member Lynne, tiling our floors.

And boy oh boy did it turn out looking fantastic!

here is the family room, which opens to the kitchen. We got new couches!

here is my fabulous kitchen..its hard to tell, but the green paint looks great with the wood and counter tops...it really livened everything up!Marks fist major project with wood. Hes building storage shelves and a tool bench in the garage. Isn't my husband so handy! First re-tiles the floors, now home made shelves...whats next on the home renovation/remodel list for him?

We love living here and are getting settled slowly but surely. my favorite remark about our home so far is from my dad who said,"I've never known anyone who moves from a one bedroom apartment to a four bedroom home and who has furniture to fill the entire house!"
